The Taser (spelled Tazer in promotional material) is a weapon in Postal III.
Description[]
Its primary attack fires wired cartridges which daze the opponent. If the fire button is held afterward, the enemy is given continuous electrical discharge until knockout or the player stops holding the button or another enemy runs through the wire, breaking it. In contrast, the alt-fire is a strange charge blast which (when fully charged) disables an enemy when hit.
Trivia[]
- The Taser is based on the real-world X26 Taser. The TrashMasters logo is featured in place of the "X26" on the front of the weapon. Despite this, the weapon's grip still retains the full Taser branding.
- Promotional material renames the weapon "Tazer" because the name "Taser" is copyrighted.
