The Shovel is a weapon in POSTAL: Brain Damaged.
Description[]
The first weapon found in the game, it is a mixture of the POSTAL standard shovel and a chainsaw. Pressing the fire key will cause the Dude to swing the weapon in a sweeping diagonal slash motion while holding the fire key makes the Dude hold it forward like a chainsaw. Alt-fire is allows the wielder to block incoming attacks.

Trivia[]
- In the demo, the Shovel's alt-fire allowed it to reflect projectiles. This functionality was given to the Kick instead.
- The attack animations look similar Coffin Hammer animations from the dev's previous game, Elderborne.
