Severed Limbs are a weapon in Postal III.
Description[]
After an NPC's limb or head is severed, the Postal Dude has the ability to pick up said body part. This is made posible by aiming the reticle at a severed body part (which will show a green aura around it) then pressing the use key (F by default). An improvised weapon can be used to blugeon enemies with the alt-fire or be thrown using the primary fire. If one hits an NPC on the head, they will be stunned.
Trivia[]
- Despite being considered a "non-lethal" weapon, it is possible (with great perserverance) to kill NPCs with a severed limb.
- If one has anti-aliasing enabled (MSAA), the green aura will not show around limbs. This is due to issues with the engine.
- A mod for POSTAL 2 exists which imports this functionality.
