Description[]
The Machine Gun returns in POSTAL 4, now called the M16. Compared to the AKM, it has a higher mag capacity of 35, a more controllable recoil pattern, a separate ammo type, and a higher rate of fire. Like the other weapons in the Medium weapon category, it can be enhanced with Cats and Akimbo Power.
Beginning with the Thursday Update, the M16 can be equipped with a Reflex Sight. This will remove the front sight on the weapon's base model and flip the rear sight down to acommodate the modification, and place an ACOG scope on the weapon.

- Like its previous iterations, the M16 is visually based on a member of the M16 family of rifles; in this case, it's based on the M16A4 with Troy iron sights in lieu of a carry handle
- When the weapon was first released in version 0.2.0.0, the weapon featured both the Troy front and rear sights with the standard front sight post. This was quickly changed in the following update.
