Kids are a unique civilian NPC in POSTAL.

Description

Kids are only found in the ending "level" of POSTAL, "The Elementary School". They are implied to be hallucinations experienced by the Postal Dude, and thus are invincible.

Trivia

• Kids are not seen in any subsequent games in the POSTAL series due to both the change in tone and because game journalists slandered the game, claiming it allowed you to kill children and because of Running With Scissors' running belief that violence against children is off limits.
• Midgets (such as Gary Coleman) have been joked as a better alternative.
• POSTAL Redux had its ending changed because Running With Scissors believed the original ending had lost its shock value due to the rise of school shootings in America.
• Assets for a child model could be found in earlier versions of Redux, leading to speculation that the real reason behind the change was to avoid getting an Adults Only rating which would have prevented the game from being released on consoles.
• Some elements of Postal 2 seem to suggest the presence of children but do not show any. Like the empty nursery on Apocalypse Weekend or a crashed School Bus in the normal game.
