The Gimp Suit is an item in POSTAL 2.

Description

It's worn during the "Pickup Laundry" Errand on Wednesday after the Postal Dude is attacked and kidnapped by rednecks, but can also be obtained by entering the "smackdatass" cheat code. When worn, the Gimp clothes cause everyone in an area to turn around and laugh at the Postal Dude, or say demeaning things to him. Purchasing items from vendors will be delayed because they laugh at you for a little while before offering their services. These abilities can be productive in the highest difficulties (POSTAL and Impossible) as civilians will mock at the dude instead of attacking him (unless bumped or provoked). Also, bought restorative items can be stocked in the inventory which is normally unavailable in said difficulties. Other than this, the Gimp Suit has no positive or game-enhancing effect.

In Paradise Lost, the Gimp suit can be found in several places and will hide the Postal Dude's identity from hostile hate groups while making rednecks attack him on sight. However, offended hate group members will still turn hostile if bumped into. They can also be bought directly from the Apocalypse Apparel vendor booths in the Trainyard Area for 200 dollars on Friday.

Trivia

• A Gimp wearing the exact same outfit can be found at Fire in the Hole bar, and on Tuesday in one of the rooms at the Bates Hotel alongside a priest.
• In Share The Pain, the Gimp is a playable character in the multiplayer mode and there is even a "Gimp Team".
