The Fish Finder is an item in POSTAL 2.
Description[]
The Fish Finder is a bass sniffer supposedly used to find fish. In gameplay however, it actually detects nearby people. Red "fishes" are hostile people, yellow "fishes" indicate those alerted of your actions, and white "fishes" are normal, unaffected or unprovoked people. The Fish Finder uses units to power it, which depletes with every second the tool is held up for.
Expansions[]
The Fish Finder has three expansions to upgrade its use:
- Largemouth Plug-in: detects law enforcement organizations.
- Piranha Plug-in: detects armed and potentially dangerous NPCs.
- Chompy Game Cartridge: starts a mini-game featuring a large fish named "Chompy".
Trivia[]
- When playing on higher difficulties, the player is given a permanent Fish Finder powerup that never runs out.
- The "B" letter from the "Bass Sniffer" inscription on the Fish Finder is slightly worn away, making it look as if it reads "ass Sniffer".
