The Boomstick (misspelled in-game as the Boomstek) is a weapon in Postal III.
Description[]
The major difference from POSTAL 2 is that the Boomstick seen here is semi-automatic, whereas before it was pump-action. The Boomstick is also quite weak and encountered noticeably less often when compared to the previous game, making it a less useful weapon to rely on.
Trivia[]
- The Boomstick is based on a Remington 870 with an M4 stock, red dot sight, and door-breaching muzzle brake.
- The name "Boomstick" is a possible reference to the film Army of Darkness, where the main protagonist, Ash Williams, calls his double-barrel shotgun a "boomstick".
